Yoram Kroll, Head of the major in Finance and Capital Markets at Ono Academic College revealed the results of his research “Mergers and Acquisitions in the Kibbutz Movement in the First Decade of the 21st Century” at a conference held recently at Ruppin College. He found, “It is incorrect to say that introducing external partners contributed to a significant economic breakthrough.” Rather, “external partners were introduced in industries that had already made the main economic breakthrough; more than partners created value, they handled its distribution, often with great skill, so that the value reached both their pockets and the members’ pockets.”
