Yair Lapid at Ono: “I loathe what Zoabi represents, but also freedom of speech protects her”
Yair Lapid, chairman of the Yesh Atid (“There is a Future”) party, met with students at Ono Academic College. During the meeting he addressed the disqualification of Hanin Zoabi by the Central Election Commission, saying, “Zoabi and Michael Ben Ari are identical twins. All of these extremists similar.” Despite this he affirmed that she is protected by freedom of speech. During the second part of the meeting, students asked Lapid pointed questions.
