Ono Academic College will make an effort to accommodate students on reserve duty or living in the conflict zone.
Coordinators: Each faculty has appointed an administrative coordinator who is responsible for assisting students who need help. These coordinator are the address for any administrative and academic problems students experience. They will work closely with the academic coordinators and representatives of Student Association.
Coordinators for each program:
Missing materials: Students will receive an e-mail summary of the material covered in courses that they missed while on reserve duty.
Attendance: Attendance requirements are suspended until further notice.
Delay in due-dates for assignments:- A student who served in the reserves and/or was living in a conflict zone when the submission of required assignment in a particular class was dues, may choose one of these alternatives:
Exam dates: Each exam is given three times and a student may choose two of them. If need an additional time is needed (beyond 3 dates provided) the Student Affairs Committee will set an additional date. To avoid any doubt, this does not mean adding a date so that each person taking the test will have three dates, but rather that a currently scheduled date will be replaced with a later one.
Photocopying materials: A student who served in the reserves during the operation and/or was living in a conflict zone can photocopy the material they missed during the semester at the various offices of the Student Administration.
Ono Academic College will do everything in its ability to allow students on reserve duty, those serving in the security forces and those living in the conflict zone return to school in the best way possible.
Sincerely,
The Student Administration
