Ono Academic College is proud to host the National Conference on Genetic Counseling: Past, Present and Future. The conference will deal with issues arising from the changing outline of genetic counseling because of constraints related to accessibility, technology, professional liability and patients’ rights. The conference will be held at the college’s main campus of Thursday, December 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

The conference will include three sessions, on the following topics:

  • Clinical genetics: Past and future
  • Making genetic services accessible to the population
  • Genetic counseling, structuring genetic counseling and medical genetics: A renewed perspective
