Israel is recognized as a global leader in cybersecurity, with cutting-edge knowledge and innovation – yet it also faces a constant stream of cyber threats, from hostile nations and terrorist groups to criminal networks and lone attackers.
In recent years, cyber risks have become one of the most significant threats facing organizations across all sectors, including finance, healthcare, government, industry, and the private sector. More than ever, organizations are under siege from sophisticated attacks involving data breaches, ransomware, financial fraud, and intrusions into critical infrastructure. State-sponsored cyber warfare, organized cybercrime, and ideologically or financially motivated hackers have transformed the digital landscape into a battlefield—one where every organization must be prepared to face rapidly evolving and unpredictable threats.
One of the biggest challenges in managing cyber risk is the gap between leadership and cybersecurity professionals. Many executives struggle to grasp the full implications of technological threats and how they impact their organization. At the same time, cybersecurity experts often struggle to translate their technical knowledge into business language that supports informed strategic decision-making. This disconnect leads to ineffective implementation of security solutions and makes it harder for cybersecurity leaders to secure the resources and executive backing they need. As a result, organizations remain vulnerable and ill-equipped to respond to real-time attacks.
To bridge this gap, the Cybersecurity and Forensics specialization within the M.B.A. in Business Administration offers a unique training path that combines deep expertise in crisis and risk management with advanced technological skills in cyber threat detection and response. Students gain practical tools to handle complex cyber incidents through an integrated approach that combines strategic thinking, cutting-edge technology, and AI-driven solutions.
The program combines academic studies with a practical internship, enabling students to gain real-world experience during their studies and establish strong connections within the professional field.
Managers need to “speak” cyber, and cybersecurity professionals need to “speak” business. In the age of AI, both must see the full picture. M.B.A. in Cybersecurity and Forensics equips you with the tools to lead, manage risk, and turn threats into opportunities in the digital world.
Program courses include:
The program offers two distinct tracks, each designed for a different professional audience and focused on developing specialized skills in managing cyber crises.
IR – Incident Response Program
The IR – Incident Response Program is designed for those looking to specialize in the technical aspects of cybersecurity. Students in this track gain hands-on experience in advanced cyber labs, where they explore attack scenarios, implement technical solutions, analyze threats, and respond to real-time incidents.
GRC & Privacy Program – Governance, Risk, and Compliance
The GRC & Privacy Program focuses on the managerial, regulatory, and governance aspects of cyber crisis management. It’s designed for executives, legal advisors, accountants, policymakers, and regulatory professionals who want to better understand cyber threats and translate that understanding into effective business, strategic, and compliance decisions.
Both tracks are built on the understanding that managers need to “speak” cyber, and cybersecurity professionals need to “speak” business. This specialization empowers students to develop hybrid skill sets, grasp the strategic implications of cyber events, and build data-driven, intelligence-based crisis management capabilities.
Graduates of the program will be eligible to receive six professional certifications:
The studies are conducted on campus, in person.
