Ono Student Union Visits Israel’s Supreme Court
A delegation of 50 students from Ono Academic College visited Israel’s Supreme Court participating in a tour organized by the Student Union.
Doron Galili, Director of the Student Union’s Academic Department, reported:
“During the tour, we were exposed to the magnificent structure of the Supreme Court, to the importance of the smallest details in its design and how it relates in terms of the world of law and the history of Israeli law.
We were privileged to sit in the hearing hall and watch a hearing in progress. During the tour we met with the Honorable Judge Alex Stein who told about his path to the Supreme Court and the values that led him to the field of law. We had the privilege of asking questions and conduct a fruitful and educated conversation with the Honorable Judge.
The students were very satisfied and excited by the opportunity they had. It was a significant experience for all of us.
The Student Union continuously strives for academic excellence and will continue to take student delegations on tours of this type in order to enrich the students and give them meaningful learning experiences.
