Hundreds of people, including Jewish Studies and Philosophy students from around the country, participated in a conference held by the Institute for the Study of Communities and Meaning at Ono Academic College’s  Jerusalem Campus.  The conference, titled “Communities and Meaning and Everything in Between,” featured dozens of panels and lectures on social issues. Speakers included: Dr. Nebo Shimon Vaknin, Director of the Department of Jewish Studies at Ono Academic College; Dr. Shimon Azoulai, Director of the Institute for the Study of Communities and Meaning; Prof. Tova Hartman, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.  Among the other presenters were: Hod Hasharon Mayor Amir Kochavi; Moran Zer Katzenstein, Founder of the “Alternative Builders” organization, and more.
