Is Apple breaking the law in Israel by showing Israeli customers prices in dollars, rather than shekels, in the iTunes store? The Clinic for Citizen Enforcement and Regulation of the Ono Legal Center for Social Justice and the Hatzlaha consumers rights organization think they are, because it is a specific Israeli iTunes Store, not a general, international site. Together, they have complained to Attorney Tamar Pincus, Commissioner of the Consumer Protection Authority in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Work . Their claim is that Apple must obey the Consumer Protection law and display prices in shekels.
