Ono Academic College has one of the country’s most advanced simulation centers which it utilizes in pioneering ways to provide students with the most applicable and cutting-edge education.
Faculty member Tamir Erez recently wrote a profile of how the simulator is used in the class “Sports as a Pedagogical Tool” which is part of Ono’s Master’s Degree in Education and Sports. Erez noted:
“This Simulation Center is a particularly well equipped. It uses a combination of real actors (from the world of Israeli theater and cinema), simulated work environments from everyday life, and complex educational situations. The practice, training, and dealing with such simulated experiences gives students the tools needed to deal with the challenges of the field in a professional and in-depth manner.”
The responses from the students about this training day were simply moving – “We had so much fun. We saw the importance of the connection between theory and practice. “When are we doing this again?” The complete profile can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/tamire8/posts/10162732464534923?__cft__[0]=AZWgx3rQyu2ZZbyvNSIAgvsL6fXU_96W0Ok1dhLL63sEZHFuzwMkwTtTWhjXHbbYmuoUMX71fN5RjCsLLH5XdQ1N47ucPQO_qqhQbzw9EZXkwc-dyqG1MP2_3P_e_KLMUq_RL6tXNZ-O1UiYVULiG2QYhLPHwpFjzsohUVMfDK4lwsUlNvECeI4wavHdWt1icYSB2ZuTsTmTnsg8pM7Aq9cXq7b8mTGwfS8jr0-kArEt7w&__tn__=%2CO%2CP-y-R
