Ono Academic College congratulates Prof. Shlomo Noy on his election as President. We wish him great success in his position.
Prof. Noy served as the Dean of the School of Health Professions at Ono Academic College since its establishment in 2002.
By training, Prof. Noy is a specialist in the field of psychiatry/psychogeriatrics. In addition to his medical degree, he holds an MBA from INSIAD and a PhD in health policy from Tel Aviv University.
Prof. Noy served as the director of the Rehabilitation Hospital and as the VP for Research, Development and Academics for 25 years at Sheba Hospital. He has also served as the acting director of the Haim Sheba Medical Center – Tel Hashomer.
Following an extensive exploration conducted by the College’s search committee and the executive committee, Prof. Noy was elected to the rank of President by the General Assembly of Ono Academic College.
We thank Prof. Moshe Ben Horin who served as President for the past 12 years. Under his leadership, Ono developed and grew to become the largest college in Israel.
Prof. Ben-Horin dedicated to the position, not only his remarkable academic professionalism, but also, his personal example as a role model of humanity and teamwork. We wish him well in all his future endeavors.
