Prof. Yaron Zelekha, who served as Accountant General in the Ministry of Finance and is currently the head of the accounting department at the Ono Academic College, notes that the recovery of the economy begins in the neighborhood grocery and the old optician’s store down the road. “Growth, employment and productivity in the economy will come from small and medium-sized businesses,” says Zelekha.
