Invitiation - Religious Zionism Symposium

Ono Opens Symposia Series “People of Faith in a World of Action”

Ono Academic College’s Religious Zionist Administration and its Lev Berliner Social Beit Midrash (Traditional Jewish Study Hall) began a series of symposia hosted by the Beit Midrash’s Director, Rabbi Dani Lavi.

The first session was entitled, “Jewish culture, national mourning and public activity” and took place in Ono’s new Shulich Auditorium.

The event featured a very personal conversation with Mr. Hagai Lober, founder and artistic director of the “Aspeklaria/Mirror” theater and acting school.  Lober lost his son Sgt. Mjr. Yonatan Lober during the “Iron Swords” war.  Lober shared his very personal and insightful thoughts about how Israel and the Jewish people rely on the foundations of Jewish culture to frame both national and individual morning, and especially at this time.
