Ono Academic College is happy and excited to congratulate the Israeli Women’s Basketball Team, including our students, Eden Rotberg, Tslil Veturi and Danielle Rever, for their victory in the first game of the Eurobasket qualifier matches. Israel defeated the team from the Republic of Ireland by a score of 87 to 57 in a game played in Riga, Latvia. The Israeli team grabbed an early 26-16 lead and added an impressive 25-16 run in the second quarter. Israel scored 18 points in the third and fourth quarters to seal the win.
