Ono Academic College’s Department of Occupational Therapy, its “Being a Student” program and its Center for Academic Equality are proud of graduate Tamir Gabai, who became Israel’s first autistic occupational therapist.
Dr. Naomi Ferziger, head of the department of occupational therapy noted:
• “I am happy for the opportunity given to us as a department to put into practice the concept of the profession, which sees the uniqueness of each person. With the help of motivation and personal investment, proper support and adjustments, a person can achieve significant goals in life. We, as a group, are proud of the amazing path that Tamir took, from the beginning of his studies to the stage of receiving his desired degree. On behalf of all involved, we wish you much success in the future.”
