First installation of the "Truth" lecture series

First Lecture in Ono “Truth Series” Investigates “Is Artificial Real? Engineered Tissues for Medicine and Food”

Ono Academic College’s Jerusalem Campus in the Talpiot neighborhood is launching a lecture series entitled “The Truth”, which is dedicated to the memory and light of Sergeant Yuval Shoham, a soldier of the “Lahav” Company in the 401st Brigade, who fell in the “Iron Swords” War, during a battle in Jabaliya on the fourth day of Hanukkah, the 29th of Kislev 5785 (29.12.24).

Yuval, a native Jerusalemite who grew up in the Baka neighborhood, was a man of spirit, truth, love and people. An intellectual and a man of books, Yuval left a deep mark on everyone who knew him.

The upcoming lecture by Prof. Shulamit Levenberg entitled “Is Artificial Real? Engineered Tissues for Medicine and Food”, will take place on Thursday, 25.12.25. Gathering and light refreshments are at 19:30, and the lecture will begin at 20:00.

Prof. Tova Hartman, Dean of Ono’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences will offer opening remarks.
