Can you study law in Israel and practice in the U.S.?

Law has always been a local degree,
so until recently, the answer was no. Today, the answer is YES!

A new International Law Program at Ono Academic College is designed for English-speaking students who want to keep their options open.

This unique LL.B. track bridges Israeli law with New York Bar eligibility, opening doors locally and globally. Because where you study law shouldn’t limit where you can go next.

What makes it different?

  •  Faculty with strong international backgrounds, many trained in leading U.S. law schools
  •  Targeted preparation for both the New York and Israeli bar exams
  •  First year fully taught in English
  • Intensive Hebrew ulpan with dedicated legal terminology support
  • Full academic, personal and social support available in English throughout the program

As Dr. Yehonatan Shiman, Head of the Program, explains, the program is built to expand opportunities on multiple fronts:

“Graduates of the program will be able to practice law in both the U.S. and Israel. While the program emphasizes international commercial law, students will be fully qualified to pursue either specialized or general legal practice.”
