Ono Hosts “Strong Café Buna”: Traditional Ethiopian Coffee Service and Stories about Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jewry)

The International Center for the Study of Ethiopian Jewry is hosting the first installment of a monthly program, which combines the traditional Beta Israel coffee ceremony with stories and learning about Ethiopian Jewry.

“Café Buna” is a ceremony of great social importance in Ethiopian culture and the Center will mark upcoming Rosh Chodesh (New Moon) holidays with meetings to discuss issues related to Ethiopian Jewry.
