Ono Hosts Sigd Holiday Event

Ono Academic College will host a Sigd Holiday Event event, on Wednesday, November 27, between 12:00-13:30, at the Ono Academic College Kiryat Ono Campus in the first floor concert hall, with the participation of scholars, employees and students.

The Sigd holiday falls 50 days after Yom Kippur. It is a day of fasting and prayer and the renewal of the covenant between the people and God Almighty. Sigd serves as a a symbol of the covenant between God and the Jewish people that took place of Mount Sinai.
