Ono Academic College’s School of Society and the Arts will present a series of conversations with leaders and pioneers in the field of expressive and creative therapy, who will address key aspects of their work – then and now.
Following on from our successful alumni conference, this conversation series is intended to provoke thought and inspiration, and is open to everyone: artists, researchers, therapists, educators, community workers and students.
The meetings are moderated by Dr. Michal Lev, a Lecturer in the Art Therapy Program, and Vivien Marcow-Speiser, Professor Emeritus at Lesley University, USA.
The first distinguished guest in the series is Professor Emeritus Shaun McNiff, who, together with Professor Vivien Marcow-Speiser, founded the Lesley University Israel Branch Program which functioned from 1980–2014. Professor McNiff is considered a pioneer and international leader in the field of Expressive Art Therapy, and his work has profoundly influenced our understanding of the applications of art in therapy, education, and research.
The conversation will take place Sunday, January 5, from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM on Zoom
