Dr. Shachar Eldar, of Ono Academic College Law Faculty, addressed the annual joint conference of Peking University (PKU) Law School and the University of Hong Kong in Beijing. The theme of the October 2012 conference was Democracy and the Rule of Law. Dr. Eldar spoke about the doctrinal and theoretical sources of the Israeli penal code.

 

Dr. Eldar was hosted by Prof. Shizhou Wang, who visited Ono earlier this year as a keynote speaker at the Sixth Annual Joint Conference of Ono Academic College and Columbia University focusing on International Law.
