Role: Member of Knesset
Miri (Miriam) Regev is a member of the Knesset on behalf of the Likud party. She was Minister of Transportation and Road Safety, a member of the Political-Security Cabinet and Minister of Culture and Sports, Chief Military Censor and IDF Spokeswoman with the rank of Brigadier General during the disengagement period and during the Second Lebanon War. In the 18th Knesset, she chaired the Subcommittee on the Periphery and as a member of the Finance Committee, the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, the Interior and Environmental Protection Committee and a joint defense budget committee. In the 19th Knesset, she chaired the Interior and Environmental Protection Committee and as a member of the Finance and Foreign Affairs and Defense Committees. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a Specialization in Finance and the Capital Markets from Ono Academic College.
