Prof. Ella Been Appointed as Dean of the School of Health Professions

We are proud to congratulate Prof. Ella Been on her appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Health Professions at Ono Academic College

Prof. Been has been a valued member of the Ono community since 2014, serving in a variety of academic and leadership roles. In 2019, she founded Ono’s Sports Therapy program and has led it ever since, helping to educate and inspire the next generation of health professionals.

Alongside her academic leadership, Prof. Been is an accomplished researcher whose interdisciplinary work combines her clinical expertise as a physiotherapist with anatomy and human evolutionary studies. Her research seeks to better understand and reconstruct the development of upright posture and bipedal walking in humans. In recognition of these achievements, she was appointed Associate Professor in 2021.

We wish Prof. Been great success in her new role and look forward to her continued contributions to advancing excellence, innovation, and leadership in health professions education.
