Ono International OT Student Profiled

The Walla news site article highlights Ateret Yaffe-Dalphon, a 21-year-old immigrant from Toronto who chose to study Occupational Therapy at Ono Academic College after making aliyah. She joined the first year cohort of Ono’s new International School, which opened this year with a Bachelor’s program in Occupational Therapy and Master’s programs in Business Administration and Visual Arts Therapies.  The program will expand next year with additional programs in Law and Real Estate.

Ateret explains that Ono’s unique English-language first-year track for new immigrants enabled her to begin a demanding health-science degree without waiting years to master Hebrew. She describes Ono as academically rigorous yet deeply supportive of olim, helping her build both a professional future and a sense of belonging in Israel. Her goal is to contribute to Israeli society through rehabilitative care, and she sees her studies at Ono as the foundation for building a meaningful life in her new home.
