When a experts must confront a cyberattack …

The final exercise of Ono Academic College’s MBA program in Cyber and Forensics–a unique collaboration with Kaspersky Israel, the Israel branch of a private multinational cybersecurity company – took the students straight into a real-life scenario of a live cyberattack.

Together with the dear Assaf Hazan, Kaspersky’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the program’s staff led a simulation using the Kaspersky Interactive Protection Simulation (KIPS), in which students were required to manage ransomware, phishing and sophisticated fraud attacks – under time pressure and combining technological precision with a keen business understanding.

 The student team that was judged the most successful in the exercise demonstrated concrete expertise that each team member brought to the table.

 All of the participants learned an important lesson in crisis management – the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
