Ono Academic College congratulates Dr. Limor Adi Ben-Said on her appointment as Director of the Department of Communication Disorders at Ono Academic College, starting in the upcoming academic year, 2025-2026.
Dr. Adi Ben-Said is a senior lecturer in the Department of Communication Disorders, teaching at Ono since 2009, and a leading researcher in clinical-diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of the field, specializing in early detection and prevention of language and speech developmental disorders in early childhood. She leads the field of early childhood language development within the department and serves as a senior clinician, directing and coordinating the rehabilitation of hearing, language, and speech for children and adults with hearing impairments, including cochlear implant recipients, at the Sheba Medical Center.
Although the end of the current academic year is still far off, this is an excellent opportunity to express our gratitude to Dr. Hana Putter-Katz, the founder of the Department of Communication Disorders at Ono Academic College and its Director since its establishment. Dr. Putter-Katz built a distinguished department with an outstanding academic and clinical reputation, as evidenced by the recent quality assessment process conducted by Israel’s Council for Higher Education (CHE), the national accreditation body. Dr. Putter-Katz will continue to serve as a senior lecturer in the department.
