Applied Academy - The specialization is designed to provide students with knowledge in the field of financial management and the capital market, emphasizing combining the acquisition of the theoretical background with practical tools that make it possible to apply the theory.

Who is this program for?

In recent years, the financial world is undergoing a revolution. Technological, social, and regulatory developments are transforming the familiar financial landscape, from its external form to the economic concepts and models underpinning it.
The introduction of new technologies has led to the development of new products, services, and financing methods, such as: digital currencies, robo-advisory, social trading, crowdfunding, and more. The goal of the curriculum in the Finance and Capital Markets specialization is to expose the student to the technological developments in the financial world, to familiarize them with the new products and services, the principles of their operation, and the technology behind them, thereby enabling them to integrate and succeed in this evolving world.

Graduates of the specialization receive an additional certificate indicating the specialization in addition to their degree certificate.

 

Program Overview

This international Master’s program in Finance and Capital Markets consists of five trimesters and is designed for English-speaking students from Europe and the United States. The program provides a solid foundation in finance, investments, and capital markets, combining practical skills, innovative approaches, and academic research. Students will acquire theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, preparing them for careers in financial institutions, consulting firms, and global organizations.

Admission Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with an Average GPA of 80.

The program is conducted in English, and select elective courses are taught in Hebrew.

The program offers an option for a secondary specialization (in an additional semester) in financial technology (fintech) for those who wish to specialize in this critical field. Currently, this area of financial specialization is at the center of activity in Israel’s capital markets and around the world.
