Academic Support and Accessibility Center

The Academic Support and Accessibility Center was established at Ono Academic College with the aim of allowing any student with a disability or other challenges to study in an environment that fully supports them. The Academic Support and Accessibility Center accompanies students during their studies by providing the appropriate tools for strengthening and empowerment while delivering assistance in finding the accommodations and learning aids that will allow them to complete their academic studies.

The center has a number of branches, which operate in the various campuses of Ono Academic College (Kiryat Ono, Or Yehuda, Haifa, and Jerusalem), and a technological center which was established with the assistance of the Bituah Leumi (National Insurance) and Karten Fund.

 

Academic Support and Accessibility Center Services

  2. Accessibility accommodations and support in exercising rights for students with disabilities.

    Anyone with a request for personal accessibility accommodations is invited to contact the Academic Support and Accessibility Center through the student information station (for active students).
  3. Workshops for students on various topics: learning strategies workshop, assistive learning technologies, exercising rights.
  4. Academic mentoring – Study assistance provided by outstanding students as part of social involvement or scholarship requirements – For more details, click here >>

  6. Adapted English courses for students with a language learning disability – For more details, click here >>
  7. Providing additional time for learning reinforcement to students with learning disabilities who have difficulty with the English language.
  8. Reinforcements on various subjects during your studies.
  9. Assistive learning technology with both training and equipment lending is available.
