Did you know there is another way?‎

Research has shown that students’ ability to cope and their academic achievements are related to ‎the quality of their life. Sources of intense pressure include: multiple academic obligations ‎and meeting academic requirements on schedule while finding time for work, family, friends and ‎leisure.

The secret solution can be found in a precise definition of the difficulty combined with ‎empowerment and strategic exercises.‎

We invite you to a workshop that will give you the skills necessary for identifying situations ‎characteristic of pressured periods while in college and ways for dealing with them.‎

Goals of the Workshop

  • Acquire initial tools for identifying and coping with difficulties
  • Acquaintance with and exercises in basic strategies

‎* This workshop does not replace therapy.‎

Content Covered in the Workshop

  • Mapping and identifying personal abilities and difficulties
  • Acquiring theoretical and practical tools for dealing with difficulties
  • Solutions/strategies for dealing with the problem – study strategies, basic tools for improving ‎skills, tips and exercises
  • Implementation and follow-up between meetings – learning and drilling between sessions

Structure ‎

  • ‎3meetings of 4 academic hours each
  • The workshop includes both frontal and experiential segments
  • Participants: 15-20 participants‎
  • The number of places is limited

Workshop Facilitator

A skilled occupational therapist with experience in teaching study skills and personal and emotional ‎management strategies.

The workshop will be held in room 305 on the second floor of the MBA building: 2  Nahar Yard ‎Street, Kiryat Ono, on:‎
