This year’s “Nachshonit Award” will be granted to Professor Gabriela Shalev, President of the Higher Academic Council Ono Academic College and former ambassador of Israel to the United Nations, and Prof. Tammie Ronen Rosenblum, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Tel Aviv University. The award will be presented a festive conference being held in honor of International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 10, 2013, in the presence of the Mayor Dov Tzur of Rishon Letziyon, Vered Swid, Director of Authority for the Advancement of the Status of Women and advisor to the Prime Minister on the Status of Women, Natalie Ben David, MK Merav Michaeli and journalist Stella Korin Lieber.
