The Israeli law governing claims filed in Magistrates Court stipulates that a small claim (currently defined as less than NIS 30,000) may be filed only by a private individual, not by a company or corporation.  The Clinic for Citizen Enforcement and Regulation of the Ono Legal Center for Social Justice has taken on the challenge of changing this situation. A few days ago, Attorney Elad Mann, who heads the clinic, and law student Elad Arbiv, sent a proposal for amending the law to Deputy Attorney General Sarit Dana.
