Prof. Arye Bebchuk, an external advisor to the Committee on Enhancing Competitiveness chaired by Haim Shani, spoke at the 6th Annual Joint Conference of Ono Academic College and Columbia Law School. He expressed reservations about corporate control pyramids with three or more layers. According to the international data he presented, Israel is in second place, behind Colombia, in the complexity of its business pyramids. This complexity is especially striking when compared to developed economies.
