Prof. Amichai Cohen holds a PhD in Law from Yale University, USA. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with honors. Prof. Cohen is a researcher at the Israel Democracy Institute. He served as a visiting professor at the American University, Washington College of Law, Washington D.C.
Teaching Areas
Public international law, international humanitarian law, national security law, the relationship between international law and state law
Research interests
Public international law and the treatment of Israeli law, martial law, and national security law in Israel.
