About

Prof. Assaf Lev is an anthropologist and sports sociologist. His research focuses on the relationship between the body, pain, physical effort, and sports. Dr. Lev’s connection to this field stems from his past as a sports therapist, a professional basketball player in the Israeli Premier League, and currently as a long-distance runner. The many injuries he faced in the past intuitively motivated him to engage in research in this area.
