Professor Stanley Fischer, the Governor of the Bank of Israel spoke with students at Ono Academic College last night (27 February 2013). He talked about Israel and the global economy. Fisher addressed the problems of housing, low interest rates, and the government deficit, but expressed optimism about the situation: “The current situation is very good apart from the budget. However, we have serious long-term challenges.”
