Dr. Elhanan Gazit

About

Dr. Elhanan Gazit is a researcher and founder of the Gameful Intelligence approach in the generative AI era for business growth and personal empowerment. He developed his approach based on over two decades of research into the happiness and wealth engineering of the gaming industry in academia and his professional experience in developing instructional technologies in the IDF. Elhanan is an expert in user behaviour and learning in virtual reality environments, one of the first video game researchers in the world, and one of the founders of the metaverse industry in Israel.

 

Elhanan holds a Ph.D. in Education from Tel Aviv University. His doctoral dissertation investigated user behaviour and learning dynamics in virtual reality (VR) environments based on NASA photographs. To this end, he developed a model for analyzing learning interactions using computer tools. He is the recipient of the Gavastella Foundation-SCTA Rashi Scholarship for Outstanding Doctoral Students. Elhanan completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Virtual Reality Laboratory for People with Special Needs at the Baron Edmon Benjamin de Rothschild's Caesarea Institute for Interdisciplinary Research (CRI) of Applications in Computer Science. There, he developed a model for analyzing the behaviour of children and adolescents with high-functioning Asperger's syndrome, using interactive applications.

 

Elhanan lectures as a consultant to managers of organizations, companies, and startups, to navigate growth in the age of artificial intelligence, improve decision-making processes, solve problems, and lead innovation by thoughtfully implementing his Gameful Intelligence approach.

 

He hosts the 'Game Intelligence in the Age of AI' and 'MetaYeda' podcasts and is writing a book on the subject.

Since 2007 he has been the Israeli chapter of DIGRA – The Digital Games Research Association.

Elhanan lectures on his areas of expertise as part of the Master's Degree program in digital strategy and marketing management at the School of Marketing and Digital, Faculty of Business Administration, Ono Academic College. Courses:
