\u00a0<\/strong>Below is a step-by-step procedure for teachers, recommending content and methods of instruction. We suggest dividing the content into three to four lessons. Our recommendation is for each lesson to take about 60 minutes, but this timeframe will vary per classroom. As a general guideline for pacing lessons:<\/em><\/p>\n

Lesson 1<\/u> <\/strong>should begin with Starter <\/em><\/strong>and cover Outreach I: 1855-1867<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lesson 2<\/u> <\/strong>should continue with Outreach II: 1867-1904 <\/em><\/strong>and Outreach III: 1904-1948<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lesson 3<\/u> <\/strong>should cover Outreach IV: 1948-1954 <\/em><\/strong>and open Jewish Status of the Beta Israel I: 1954-1972<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lesson<\/u> 4 <\/strong>should complete Jewish Status of the Beta Israel, I: 1954-1972<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

and conclude with Jewish Status of the Beta Israel II: 1972-1975<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
