  2. To understand the Beta Israel\u2019s atti- tudes toward the following philoso- phies and values: Faith (and doubt) in G-d; the goodness of humanity; the importance of respect; interpersonal relationships; and the concepts of spontaneity and individuality<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Below is a step-by-step procedure for teachers, recommending content and methods of instruction. We suggest dividing the content into three to four lessons. Our recommendation is for each lesson to take about 60 minutes, but this timeframe will vary per classroom. As a general guideline for pacing lessons:<\/em><\/p>\n

Lesson 1<\/u> <\/strong>should include Starter<\/em><\/strong>, Beta Israel as a \u201cLiving Repository,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>and Faith (and Doubt) in G-d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lesson 2<\/u> <\/strong>should cover both The Goodness of Humanity <\/em><\/strong>and Respect<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lesson 3<\/u> <\/strong>should explore Interpersonal Relationships <\/em><\/strong>and conclude with Spontaneity & Individuality<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
