Can you think of examples like this?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The students are likely to reflect on stories that they have read or heard about, perhaps from the Holocaust or more current events.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The teacher should invite 2-3 students to briefly share examples. Then, teachers should say to their students:<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Here\u2019s my question: If at a time of political distress, a family is unfortunately separated, would groups of relatives who are torn away from the rest still be considered family, even if they are very far apart?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Student opinions will differ (in digital classrooms, this question can be posed as a virtual survey).
