Ono Graduate on the Autism Spectrum Elected to President Herzog’s “Voice of the People” Council<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Josh Aronson, a graduate of Ono Academic College, and a correspondent for the Maariv newspaper was elected to Israel President Herzog’s “Voice of the People” initiative, which brings together 150 Jewish leaders from around the world.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Aronson, who is on the autism spectrum, received his Bachelor\u2019s Degree from Ono and then went on to earn a master’s degree in international journalism at a British university. He is currently the diaspora affairs correspondent for the Maariv newspaper and works as a freelance journalist for several Jewish newspapers in the diaspora.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Aronson is not only a journalist – but also a social activist. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and volunteers in several organizations, including the “Keep Olim” association and the “Defender of Communities” organization. In addition, he served as chairman of Meretz Jerusalem, a coordinator of people with disabilities and was at the forefront of the struggles for accessibility and equality.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Maariv Editor Golan Bar Yosef said about Aronson\u2019s award: “We are proud of Josh and his social involvement. His selection is a blessing.”<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
