This marked the end of the program\u2019s first class, made up of 12 young Beta Israel leaders who over the course of a year studied classic Ethiopian Jewish texts and encountered the philosophy and theology found in them.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The concluding event began with a tour of the Hineni Ethiopian Village given by participant and Village Manager, Avi Yalo. After an introduction by Rabbi Sharon, the participants presented the topics about which they are writing and received feedback from the group. Keis Matosnot met with the group and frankly discussed the current state of Beta Israel and their leadership.
