{"id":30241,"date":"2023-03-28T12:45:31","date_gmt":"2023-03-28T12:45:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ono.ac.il\/eng\/?post_type=news&#038;p=30241"},"modified":"2023-03-30T10:11:36","modified_gmt":"2023-03-30T10:11:36","slug":"onos-school-of-humanities-publishes-spring-circular","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.ono.ac.il\/eng\/news\/onos-school-of-humanities-publishes-spring-circular\/","title":{"rendered":"Ono\u2019s School of Humanities Publishes Spring Circular"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ono\u2019s School of Humanities Publishes Spring Circular<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Ono Academic College recently published a new bulletin highlighting some of its most exciting projects.\u00a0 The beautifully photographed document includes the following articles:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Deepening roots &#8211; The\u00a0article describes the\u00a0collaboration between Ono Academic\u00a0College\u00a0and the Ethiopian\u00a0academic community that\u00a0reached its peak in a\u00a0scientific\u00a0conference and a visit to\u00a0that country\u2019s\u00a0universities.\u00a0Nilly Venezia, manager of Ono\u2019s International Center for the Study of Ethiopian Jewry,\u00a0writes about this\u00a0unique project<\/li>\n<li>Teachers\u00a0of\u00a0parents &#8211; M.A. students\u00a0in the Education\u00a0program prepared a final project that forced them to\u00a0confront parents&#8217; perceptions of\u00a0teachers, and their\u00a0own\u00a0perceptions of the parents who are supposed to be partners\u00a0with them\u00a0in\u00a0working for the benefit of the children<\/li>\n<li>To change without words &#8211;\u00a0A\u00a0bachelor&#8217;s degree student in education\u00a0created a video\u00a0graduation thesis\u00a0that succeeded in\u00a0evoking strong emotions\u00a0and exciting\u00a0hundreds of thousands of viewers.<\/li>\n<li>Smiling for the camera &#8211;\u00a0The Israeli video therapy community recently\u00a0held\u00a0a conference\u00a0that,explored\u00a0the advantages\u00a0Ono\u2019s\u00a0\u00a0behavioral sciences\u00a0bachelor\u2019s program that includes a videotherapy track.<\/li>\n<li>Belief\u00a0and training &#8211; a seminar paper submitted by\u00a0an Ono\u00a0student reveals the interesting connection\u00a0between\u00a0traditional\u00a0medical and cultural concepts, and physical training among ultra-Orthodox women.<\/li>\n<li>To feel digital &#8211;\u00a0In a world that is becoming more and more digital, the generation\u00a0gap is\u00a0growing and creating a host of challenges. Dr. Daphna Liber, head of the bachelor&#8217;s degree\u00a0program\u00a0in behavioral sciences,\u00a0makes sense of\u00a0this\u00a0new\u00a0world\u00a0in her recently published\u00a0book.<\/li>\n<li>The experience was so profound &#8211; Siham, a graduate of the master&#8217;s\u00a0degree program\u00a0in society and\u00a0the\u00a0arts,\u00a0discusses\u00a0the opportunity to meet\u00a0and study with\u00a0women from all over Israel, from all different backgrounds.
