Lev recently completed research into the psychological aspects of Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) that sometimes follows intense exercise and weight training.&nbsp; He noted that while DOMS is painful, some athletes get psychological pleasure from it because it signifies to them successful training.
