He served as Deputy Minister of Culture in Adjara, Director of the Batumi College of Music, and lectured at both the Tbilisi State Conservatoire and the Batumi College of Music alongside his creative work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly after immigrating to Israel, he was appointed Composer-in-Residence with the Ra\u2019anana Symphonette Orchestra and later with the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion. Today, Bardanashvili is a member of the academic faculty at several music institutions across Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of his career, he has composed nearly 100 works, including four operas such as <em>Journey to the End of the Millennium<\/em> and <em>The Dybbuk (Between Two Worlds)<\/em>. His music has been performed by leading orchestras in Israel and abroad, and he has also written extensively for film and theater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bardanashvili has received numerous awards both in his native Georgia and in Israel, among them: the Zakaria Paliashvili Prize for Outstanding Musician (Georgia, 1987), the Prime Minister\u2019s Prize for Composers (2000\u20132011), \u201cComposer of the Year\u201d at the Israeli Theater Awards (2002\u20132003), the ACUM Lifetime Achievement Award (2002), and many others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lecturer<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":7325,"menu_order":225,"template":"","class_list":["post-7519","lecturer","type-lecturer","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ono.ac.il\/eng-music\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/lecturer\/7519","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ono.ac.il\/eng-music\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/lecturer"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ono.ac.il\/eng-music\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/lecturer"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ono.ac.il\/eng-music\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/7325"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ono.ac.il\/eng-music\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=7519"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
