He has performed as a solo pianist with all major symphony orchestras in Israel, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. He completed his studies at the École Normale de Musique in Paris and the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
He has served as musical director and conductor for numerous musicals, including The Producers, Fiddler on the Roof, Yentl, Kazablan, My Fair Lady, Evita, Les Misérables, and many more. He has composed music for countless theater productions across Israel, including Nora, As You Like It, Hamlet, Ghetto, Yirmah, A Month in the Country, Anna Karenina, Three Sisters, The Rebels, Mikveh, A Streetcar Named Desire, Uncle Vanya, Horses on Geha Road, Black Box, and many others.
He has received numerous awards, including the ACUM Prize and the Meir Margalit Prize for theatrical composition. He founded the Israeli Theater Orchestra, specializing in performances of works related to theater, and together with Dror Keren created the show Ishl and Romantchka based on a text by Hanoch Levin. He has composed music for many of Hanoch Levin’s plays, including Ashkava, Those Who Walk in the Dark, The Work of Life, and The Crybabies, among others.
