In 2000, Tal began his undergraduate studies in conducting at the Tel Aviv Academy of Music, where he specialized in arranging. Following his studies, he sang in numerous choirs, including the Israeli Opera Choir, the Gary Bertini Israeli Choir, the New Vocal Ensemble, Collegium Tel Aviv, the Adi Choir, and many others.
He has arranged and conducted for numerous orchestras in Israel, including the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, Simphonia Ra’anana, Simphonia Be’er Sheva, and the Ramat Hasharon Symphony Orchestra. Since its founding in 2013, he has conducted Vocalocity as well as a light choir in Tel Aviv.
Tal also runs a small home studio where he composes, records, edits, and produces recordings and music videos. Since joining HaShminiya in 2006 as a tenor, he has also contributed numerous arrangements for the ensemble.
