The hallmarks of today’s music world are multicultural and stylistic influences. Interconnections between the different worlds of music, be they classical, Jazz, Pop, electronic music, world music, music for the screen and so forth, have become widespread and natural, and are generating new artistic trends.
Musicians, be they songwriters, instrumentalists or vocalists, are required to be fully familiar and in command of their professional fields of activity and the complete range of possibilities available to them.
Our curriculum provides musicians with a fully-stocked toolbox enabling them to cope effectively with these challenges, by combining in-depth studying of the core subjects that rely on the classical tradition and knowledge, along with innovation and mastery of a range of contemporary styles and state-of-the-art technological tools.
In the third and fourth years of study, the students pick a specialty program according to their artistic inclination. All classes and instruction are delivered with the development of creativity and practical know-how in mind. Numerous opportunities are provided for self-expression and the empowerment of the student’s personal artistic voice.

One of the curricular programs we offer is a program for a bachelor’s degree in multidisciplinary music (BMus), an internationally recognized credential, taught at the Ono School of Music.
