Vocal & Stage Performance

In the third and fourth years of the specialty program, students will take courses in diction, stage movement fundamentals, basic acting, stage musical ensemble (subject to audition), along with such courses as the Ableton Live software, entrepreneurship and business management for musicians, and courses on creativity, songwriting and composing.

At the end of the third year of studies, a final recital of about 30 minutes will be presented, showcasing a diversified range of styles (an Israeli song, a classical piece, a Jazz piece, an original song and so forth).

At the end of the fourth year, a 60-minute personal graduation performance reflecting the student’s personal style will be independently produced and presented, under the guidance of the student’s tutor and an advisor from the school faculty.

The Vocal & Stage Performance specialty program trains male and female vocalists for vocal excellence and uncompromising mastery of their vocal delivery, so that they may fit into the various branches of the music industry.

Over the course of their studies, students will experience an extensive range of stage performances in various styles, with the emphasis placed on voice production, correct posture, commanding the performance space, creativity, solo performance, ensemble performance, et al.

In the context of the courses of this program, one-on-one vocal pedagogy lessons will be provided by the country’s leading teachers. Other specialized courses will include song delivery, Israeli song performance workshop (in front of a live audience) and songwriting. Core courses will include the fundamentals of musical theory, arranging and composing for ensembles, music production and mastering the latest recording and editing software, et al.
