SIFTACH: CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM FOR ONO STUDENTS & ALUMNI

The Career Guidance and Management Unit and the Center for Academic Support and Accessibility are pleased to announce the opening of a new employment program “Siftach” (“First Chance”) for college graduates and students with disabilities, established by the Israeli government and JDC-Israel.

 

Siftach is an innovative, unique social program designed to help students and graduates with disabilities acquire job search tools and skills that will enable them to integrate in a position commensurate with their education, talents and skills. The program includes individual professional accompaniment. 

What’s included?

  • Personal accompaniment by the program coordinators, experts in the field of employment for people with disabilities
  • Assistance in searching for and finding a job, and guidance from the beginning of the process through building a career
  • Preparation for the world of work: Writing resumes, preparation for testing at assessment centers, simulated interviews, guidance and assistance in the process of finding relevant jobs

Where?

The service is free-of-charge at the Center for Academic Support and Accessibility, Ono Academic College.
