M.A. IN JEWISH STUDIES
The Ono Academic College Jerusalem campus offers you an opportunity to enroll in the MA Jewish Studies program (continuing the activity of the Lander Institute that ceased operations), and begin a journey that will deeply touch the soul and fascinate the intellect and anyone who is attracted to or interested in Judaism.
Who knows better than yourself what excites and intrigues you? Therefore, the curriculum allows you to choose primary and secondary areas of specialization from among five intriguing, challenging possibilities: Bible and its Interpretation, Oral Tradition, History of the Jewish People, Jewish Thought, and Jewish Education.
Much thought and attention has been invested in developing a curriculum that combines the highest level of academic study, optimal flexibility and full consideration of the needs and desires of students.
The purpose of this program is to impart an academic foundation for understanding the fundamental processes and ideas that have shaped Judaism and Jewish society from its earliest days.
The quality academic curriculum is built on in-depth content that relies on the most important and comprehensive research, and a faculty that includes leading professors from Israeli universities (including an Israel Prize laureate) and young, dynamic teachers who have proven their strength in research.

In order to make it as convenient as possible to study while also managing family life and a career, it is possible to concentrate all classes in a single day each week. In addition, some courses are offered online, and can be studies from home or any other location. The framework for the MA program is four semesters, spread over two academic years.
