CENTER FOR ACADEMIC SUPPORT AND ACCESSIBILITY
Head of the Center for Academic Support and Accessibility: Michal Emanuel Shalev.
Everyone should have an opportunity to fulfill their dream.
Ono Academic College believes that every individual should have an equal opportunity to study for an academic degree and develop a successful career.
Therefore, and part of its efforts to change the face of Israeli society, the college established the Center for Academic Support and Accessibility ('matana'), with the goal of enabling every student with a disability or experiencing academic difficulties to reach the goal of studying for an academic degree, by providing appropriate tools for reinforcement and empowerment.
The Center for Academic Support and Accessibility is based on a multifaceted, multidisciplinary conceptual model, focused on the student. Academic support will be offered in full consideration of other aspects of life, including social, recreational, occupational and other forms of functioning.
Accordingly, all the varied services provided for students with learning disabilities are located under one roof , to make it easier for students and offer more effective and focused services.
